Marine/Shipboard Display Indicators (Repeaters)
Description:
Ship’s Display Indicators provide remote visual display of ship’s parameters at required locations throughout the ship. Ship’s display Indicators can be either analog or digital.
Marine Display Indicator Types:
Ship’s Course Indicator (SCI) - The Ship’s Course Indicator or Gyrocompass Repeater as it is sometimes called is operated electrically from the master gyrocompass and repeats its indications exactly. The indicator card is graduated in degrees 0-359 and is illuminated by lamps which can be regulated as desired by means of a dimmer knob. The indicator is housed in a watertight case with a double Glass bezal, and the indicator has a cable for connection to a junction box.

Ship’s Speed Indicator (SSI) – The Ship’s Speed Indicator is a direct reading speed indicating unit which is used with the ship’s underwater Log. The Speed Indicator gives a visual dial indication of ship’s speed in the ranges of 0 to 40 knots or 0 to 25 knots. The unit is contained in a watertight enclosure suitable for either bulkhead or panel mounting. The unit is provided with internal red illumination for the dial markings and pointer.
Ship’s Distance indicator (SDI) – The Ship’s Distance Indicator is designed for use as a repeater unit for use on vessels equipped with a underwater log system that transmits totalized nautical miles traveled by the vessel to the distance indicator.
